I'm currently recruiting for Power Systems Studies Engineers to support major onshore energy projects with a leading global engineering consultancy.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering complex power infrastructure solutions within the energy sector.

The Role

You will support onshore projects delivering detailed power systems studies across captive generation and grid-connected systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering comprehensive power systems studies
  • Equipment sizing and technical analysis
  • Load flow, short circuit and dynamic motor starting studies
  • Harmonic analysis, arc flash and transient stability studies
  • Running EMT software studies
  • Overseeing and coordinating third-party vendors
  • Supporting projects involving captive power generation (with or without grid connection)

Required Experience

  • Proven experience delivering power system studies within energy / oil & gas / LNG environments
  • Strong working knowledge of ETAP (intermediate level minimum)
  • Experience across grid-connected and captive generation systems
  • Comfortable working in an office-based project environment (4 days onsite)
